NOTES FROM JUDY

In the March issue I neglected to give the URL for One Hundred Years of Photography from the NATIONAL ARCHIVES: http://www.nara.gov/exhall/picturing_the_century/home.html

Thanks to subscriber Bill Gruener, who took time to suggest ways that I could better organize the newsletter's categories.

WINDOWS KEYSTROKES AND TIPS

Want to move back and forth between pages you've already visited? Hold down the Alt key and use the right or left arrow.

You like a page so much you want it as a shortcut on your Desktop. Use Shift+F10 and the menu drops down. Type the letter "T" (or click on Create Shortcut). This puts it on the Windows Clipboard. Minimize all your windows until the Desktop appears. Right click in an open space, then choose "Paste Shortcut" from the drop-down menu. An icon appears, and the next time you want this page, click on it.

Family and friends created a memorial, the DJ Martin Foundation, to honor the memory of Daniel Martin, murdered in March, 2000. The organization raises funds to help British Columbia families of murder victims navigate through the trauma of their losses. URL: http://www.djmartin.net
