Food for Thought - March 2002

CONTENTS

NOTE FROM JUDY

People constantly write me asking for the accepted way to write things like "web," "Internet," and "Web site." Until now, I usually relied on netlingo.com and webopedia.com. I recently bought "The Web Content Style Guide," by McGovern, Norton, and O'Dowd. The book talks briefly about writing and designing for the Web, then begins its best offering: An A to Z of Web Content Style. It's a comprehensive glossary that addresses some of the issues I mentioned above. For this alone, it's well worth the money.
