DID YOU KNOW - The difference between masterful and masterly.
Masterful, says the Chicago Manual of Style, 15th edition, describes a person who is dominating and imperious. On the other hand, masterly describes someone who's mastered a craft, trade, or profession. The word also means authoritative (They gave a masterly analysis.)

EDWARD BURTYNSKY Nature transformed through industry is a predominant theme in his work. He set course to intersect with a contemporary view of the great ages of man; from stone, to minerals, oil, transportation, silicon, and so on. To make these ideas visible he searches for subjects that are rich in detail and scale yet open in their meaning. Recycling yards, mine tailings, quarries and refineries are all places that are outside of our normal experience, yet we partake of their output on a daily basis. http://www.edwardburtynsky.com

In ancient times, however, people understood and honored the Sun’s life-giving power and majesty http://www.traditionsofthesun.org/
