    NOTE FROM JUDY

DIGITAL LEARNING. One of my neighbors is a nursing student who
learns best visually and with repetition. She has a Canon digital
camcorder, and records all her class sessions. Once she's home, she
burns the recording onto a DVD, isolates herself with her books and
assignments and a portable DVD player, and begins studying.

She's found this method to be of extreme value in the learning process.
She's found that having visual help and the ability to re-play those
areas that need reinforcement is priceless. Especially since science
and math don't come easily. She's determined to be the best nurse
possible, even if it means that—for a time—some routine tasks must
be set aside while she fills her brain with important data.

What about you? What's your best method of learning?

WINDOWS KEYSTROKES & TIPS - Undo

If you're working on a document or graphic and have a number of (or even
one) "undo" commands, using Ctrl+z will save your mouse hand some work.

DID YOU KNOW - The difference between "bring" and "take"

    http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/bring.html

When you are viewing the movement of something from the point of arrival, use "bring." Viewing things from the point of departure, you should use "take."

Judy is hosting a potluck. She tells everyone to bring a dish. When the potluck is over and people are ready to leave, she tells everyone to take some leftovers.
