DID YOU KNOW - Defining cc: at the end of a letter
Q. How do I properly indicate on a letter, that some of the people receiving copies will be electronic copies and not hard copies. Would you use ec: instead of cc:?
A. Sometimes you have to make up your own rules based on the best rules available and some common sense. Using "Copies" is very common, but it's okay to use "cc" as well. These days it stands for "courtesy copy." Try something like this:
Copies (paper): Ms. Jones James Smith John Doe Ms. Anderson
Copies (email): Judy Vorfeld James Finn Sam Weatherington Jill Smith
"Paper" would cover internal distribution, faxing, and mailing.
You could also use something like this:
Hard copies to:

UNIFIED VISION In the late 19th century, Louis Sullivan conceived the idea of an authentic American architecture suited to the needs of people living in the modern age. Employing his principles of unified design, Sullivan's followers, including Frank Lloyd Wright, William Gray Purcell, and George Grant Elmslie, developed what is now known as the Prairie School. Unified Vision explores these concepts through the Prairie School collection at The Minneapolis Institute of Arts. http://www.artsmia.org/unified-vision/ GRAMMAR
