In this issue:

  1. I want to share my delight in being part of a website makeover for
4 Paws for Ability, a 501(c)(3) that provides service/assistance dogs
for children (and some adults) with disabilities.

This Xenia, Ohio- based organization trains autism assistance dogs, seizure assistance dogs, mobility assistance dogs, multipurpose assistance dogs,
and hearing ear assistance dogs: http://www.4pawsforability.org.

They also have a foreign internship program, and Rover Rehab, which brings
rescued dogs to penal institutions to be trained by inmates. The list
goes on. As I learn more about how entire families benefit from having
an assistance dog for a child, I am in awe of all that these people do.

  2. I enjoyed a dazzling Christmas week in Washington State, complete
with snow, lots of children, great food, and some new friends.

After playing in the snow and shooting some photos on December 31,
I flew home to Arizona to catch up on Life With A New Kitten.

    It's been fun.
